SkinTyte™ is a non-invasive procedure that reduces the appearance of saggy or loose skin by using light to heat a deep layer in the skin and activating your body’s natural repair response to make and remodel collagen. The procedure is quick and comfortable resulting in a more youthful appearance.
Before & After Photos
How does SkinTyte work?
The base foundation of our skin, called the dermal matrix, loses it’s tight structure as we age due to some of it’s elastin and collagen strands becoming stretched over time combined with decreased production of new collagen and elastin. SkinTyte™ uses infrared thermal energy to heat the collagen in the dermis, initiating your body’s natural healing process. This healing or repair process creates a renewed collagen foundation which leads to increased skin firmness.
Who should consider SkinTyte?
Those looking for mild to moderate skin improvement without the use of surgery.
What is the treatment like?
SkinTyte™ uses light energy in a series of gentle, yet rapid, pulses. We don’t typically apply a topical anesthetic, however your clinician may recommend one for more sensitive areas. Small areas, such as the face and neck, can be treated in as little as 30-45 minutes, while larger areas may take longer.
How much downtime will there be after treatment?
There is no downtime with the SkinTyte™ procedure and you may immediately resume your normal activity schedule, and even apply makeup or sunscreen after treatment.
What areas can be treated?
SkinTyte™ is mostly used on the face, neck, abdomen, thighs, hands and arms. However, you may consult with your clinician regarding other areas you wish to be treated.
How many treatments will I need before I begin to see results?
Generally, 3-5 treatments are recommended to see maximum results, but you may work with your clinician on a personalized treatment plan that works best for you. You should begin seeing immediate results even after the first treatment.
What aftercare do I need?
We recommend protecting your skin from direct sun exposure and to use a good sunscreen after your procedure.
